Hamas Leader Describes Visit to Iran as Fruitful

DAMASCUS Hamas founder and leader Sheik Ahmad Yassin here on Thursday described his recent visit to Iran as fruitful. Speaking to IRNA, he said that during his stay in Iran the Iranian authorities and nation pledged their full support for the Palestinian nation, a gesture which made the Palestinians more optimistic about the future of their movement. He said that in his five-nation tour of regional countries he urged these countries to support the aspiration and ideals of the Palestinian nation.
